Initial consultations cost $300. Included in this cost is: 1. A thorough assessment of your condition - including taking a detailed history, examining you and reviewing your images (X-rays and MRI scans) 2. A detailed explanation of your condition including diagrams, 3D models, videos and a question and answer session. 3. A detailed plan for your treatment - this includes both non-surgical (physiotherapy, hand therapy, self management, steroids, splinting) and surgical options 4. An opportunity to discuss your treatment options. 5. At this point, Dr Coll can arrange an MRI scan which will be bulk billed. You are welcome to return to discuss your condition, or review further images obtained. An initial consultation takes 30 minutes, and Dr Coll works very hard to ensure you are seen within 45 minutes of your appointment time, although this is not always possible, due to surgical and other emergencies. You will receive a $80 rebate back from Medicare provided you have referral, and the consultation is face to face. A follow-up appointment costs $150. Included in this cost is: 1. A discussion of your images, and a demonstration on a large screen, of the issues which may be causing your symptoms 2. A more detailed treatment strategy 3. Further discussion and an opportunity to answer questions - feel free to write them down before your consultation! We offer a premium service, and excellent explanation of your problem, to the best of medicine's current understanding. Any gaps in knowledge are due to a lack of medical research, and you are welcome to donate to your preferred medical research group, to facilitate the improvement of understanding of your body. A follow-up appointment takes 15 minutes. Any additional time required, may come at an additional cost, to cover our overheads. You will receive a $40 rebate back from Medicare provided you have a valid referral and the consultation is face to face.
